Telephone Clockings

You can use any normal telephone to clock in or out on the TimenetWeb system.  You must provide a caller-id as this is registered against your details, so that after registering, you do not need to enter any information - just dial the number.  The numbers are all 0845 numbers so they are normally charged as a local rate call from anywhere in the country.  When using mobile phones you may need to check the rates charged by your provider.

To change settings, or to use a single number and choose clock-in or clock-out from the keypad, dial 0845-868-6857

When you first use this service, you will be asked to enter your id number.  This is the nine digit number that was given in your welcome email.  You will then be asked to enter your employee number.  If your employee number contains non-numeric characters, just enter all the numbers  (0-9) that are part of your employee number.  The employee number that you registered with Timenetweb is just 1.

Administrators can look at what method employees used to clock in and out by running the employee location report within the System reports section.  This shows the time of each clocking and the location, which is either the terminal number and name if you are using real Timenet/Micronet  terminals, the ip address of the pc for webclk, or the telephone number for phone clockings.

Administrators can also restrict which of these methods of clocking that employees are allowed to use.
